Job Description
Seeking technically savvy Technical Vendor Manager to support multiple ongoing and future projects in a fast paced environment. This position requires strong communication skills and organization skills.
The primary focus will be helping the Systems Engineering and Architecture Vendor Management team track vendor lifecycle, coordinate and improve the overall process of vendor management with multiple teams to partner with EPMO, product owners, domain architects, procurement, finance, operations, etc.

Set and monitor vendor lifecycle milestones, define technical requirements, track dependencies and report on progress.
Facilitate sourcing managers in gathering technical requirements, define NFRs & SLAs, reviewing agreements and statement of work with engineering teams.
Maintain vendor roadmaps and budget forecast
Promote awareness and enforce supplier compliance process
Maintain the Systems Engineering and Architecture Vendor Management teams knowledge base

3+ years relevant experience in software integration engineering or technical vendor management in the Entertainment & Media industry
Software development experience preferred
Strong advocate of software engineering best practices
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate without guidance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to the target audience to achieve desired results
Ability to facilitate technical discussions with diverse and cross-functional groups and good negotiation skills a plus
Excellent organization skills to manage multiple projects and vendors at a time

The Sr. Software Technical Lead will report directly to the software engineering department manager and will be a member of the System Integrity leadership team. He or she will be responsible for providing extensive support to the programs, leading a wide range of key development and technology insertion programs. The role covers a portfolio of classified programs and involves working with the development teams, program leads, customers and system/software security engineers and architects to understand their needs and to deploy the technical ideas in products, family of product lines and programs. The senior technical lead is accountable for making sure all the products meet customer requirements in a way to maximize reuse across all of the Product Line users. The position covers risk mitigation studies and proposals for new business initiatives. Tasks include, but are not limited to, ensuring technical integrity of software engineer work products, robust software testing, cross IPT communication, proper engineering processes, cost, schedule and technical performance compliance and CMMI Level 5 compliance. Responsibilities span the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a multi-discipline, agile and continuous integration environment. He or she will support the instantiation of new programs, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Baseline Change Requests (BCRs). The candidate will support management with EACs, high-level planning activities, bidding and estimating new projects. Typical job functions include participation on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing DevOps methodologies and AGILE software development techniques to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions. The candidate will be able to effectively work within a team environment, and positively influence the overall business development and SAS growth goals. As a software leader, the candidate will expand program development by working closely with the other technical lead engineers, to set future technology and process improvement goals for the programs.
