This role combines the responsibilities of a Training Specialist I and a Technical Specialist I to ensure comprehensive support for our District Operations Center (DOC) and its operations of Traffic Management.

This site is not accessible via public transportation; reliable transportation will be a requirement. How you'll make an impact at M-B as a Technical Training Specialist: Develop and maintain training materials and modules for DOC Operators, Specialists, and Supervisors.

Conduct on-site training sessions at the DOC(s) and assist in the development of online training programs. Provide coaching and mentoring to new hires and existing staff. Conduct recertification testing and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Guides (SOG). Perform real-time quality assurance on operator incidents and calls.

Perform quality control audits and review of SOP materials. Develop training modules to enhance operational performance. Analyze performance metrics and develop measures for improvement.

Provide leadership in workforce scheduling and auditing. Support staff recruitment, retention, and career development. Deliver updates and presentations on traffic management topics to clients and stakeholders.

Assist in major event response planning and real-time management. Update certification programs and undertake special projects as needed. As Needed – Special projects and tasks as assigned by client and/or AECOM project leadership.

What it takes to be successful as a Technical Training Specialist: Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in training development and delivery.

Familiarity with traffic management systems and procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Conditions of Employment: Applicant will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record Check.

Satisfactory driving records are required for driving company or personal vehicles and motor driven equipment to conduct company business. Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Safety impact employees will be subject to additional drug and alcohol testing throughout his/her employment.

As part of its employment process, M-B may procure or have prepared a criminal background check. An applicant with an unsatisfactory criminal background check report is ineligible to be hired for the position for which the report is initiated. If hired, applicant must provide document(s) within three (3) days of hire date that establish identity and employment eligibility.
