Technical Training Specialist II, Stores Appsec, Training And Education

Information Security (InfoSec) Training and Education Organization is looking for a talented and creative Technical Training Specialist to help foster security education and further enhance Amazon's security culture. The successful candidate will be an adult learning expert who is creative, collaborative and customer-obsessed. In this role you will:

• Create security education content, including eLearning materials, videos, instructor-led content, virtual classroom design, tool kits, study guides and security support tools
• Develop, lead and deliver InfoSec security education training programs
• Partner with stakeholders across Amazon.com to understand organizational learning needs and develop innovative solutions to address them effectively
• Define, track and report learning-based metrics to measure the success of our learning campaigns
• Program manage education projects to deliver high quality training that delights our customers

Key job responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to create learning content that effectively communicates key learning objectives and aligns with Amazon Key's mission.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand the opportunities, challenges, and audience.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and program stakeholders to identify learning outcomes and design programs and materials to achieve those outcomes.
• Pursue a deep understanding of learner roles to ensure your learning solutions meet the needs of stakeholders and end-users.
• Maintain knowledge of new developments in content development, technology, learning science, learning design, and learning analytics through continuous research to ensure your solutions deliver innovation.
• Design and develop learner-centered materials and activities that align with learning outcomes, apply adult learning principles, and inform learner progress and success in online learning environments.
• Use project management tools and skills to manage medium to large scale content development projects

About the team

The Training and Education team builds and provides learning experiences that elevate the security knowledge of SDO Builder and Reviewer (Security Certifiers and Security Engineers) communities. The team promotes security culture through quality, time relevant, and Amazon specific security learning.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years direct experience in designing and developing training materials and content to include creating instructor-led materials, online/e-learning modules, job aids, online tutorials, multimedia products (video, graphic, audio), and other training materials.
• 3+ years experience using eLearning development software (Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Vyond, Adobe Premiere, Camtasia or similar)
• 3+ years experience using data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve individual and organizational performance.
• 3+ years experience leveraging learning management systems and/or other content delivery platforms (e.g., publishing and managing courseware).
• 3+ years strong program management experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ year experience partnering with and presenting to executives, business leaders and stakeholders.
• Skilled at communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple cross-functional teams.
• Experience in creating and editing communication drafts for internal/employee communication
