What You Will Do

We are seeking a Technical Training Lead to join our team to lead the SketchUp Direct Training Program. This role combines the responsibilities of technical training and curriculum development and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will excel at developing and delivering top-tier training, while also ensuring optimal use of our software and related services.

  • Deliver comprehensive, top-tier training programs for customers, key accounts, and end-users, encompassing both instructor-led and eLearning formats

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver effective training solutions tailored to diverse audiences

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in relevant technical products and services, ensuring training content remains current and comprehensive

  • Create compelling, interactive training materials that are technically accurate and align with the company's style

  • Evaluate training effectiveness and leverage insights to drive continuous improvement in training programs and practices

  • Advocate for Learning Services across the organization

  • Manage and maintain training and knowledge base content

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, Bachelor's degree in education or relevant fields OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong SketchUp Expertise

  • Proven expertise in adult learning theories, instructional design best practices, training technologies, and learning management systems

  • Experience with implementing blended learning programs and producing interactive e-learning

  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to lead by example, foster mentoring relationships, and create momentum for organizational change

  • Certifications in adult learning, instructional design or other relevant areas are preferred

  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 40% (may require an international visa).
