NOV Rig Technologies is currently recruiting for a Technical Instructor with PLC experience to join our team at 5200 N Sam Houston Pkwy W in Houston.
Facility/Group Responsibilities
Plan and direct classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences, and workshops
Mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses
Produce training schedules and classroom agenda
Determine and develop course content and training material (presentations, worksheets, etc) according to objectives
Determine overall effectiveness of instructional courses and make improvements as needed
Engage with colleagues around the world to align/coordinate work activities across time zones
Maintain safe and healthy training environment by following organization standards and legal regulations
Education & Experience
High School GED
Preferred Siemens Software- PLC experience
3-5 years' experience in applicable field or similar role
Experience drafting documents, organizing content, proofreading, and editing copy, including procedures and SME-provided materials
Job Requirements
Willing and able to complete required safety and survival courses for entry onto rigs
Willing and able to travel globally, and work in industrial environments, such as factories, offshore rigs, land rigs, and manufacturing facilities, as needed
