A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A TRAINING COORDINATOR

As a Training Coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring that our company is well trained and proficient in their occupation. Primary responsibility will be overseeing the hands-on training for our new hire assemblers. In this class, they will learn how to build wiring harnesses over a 2-week period using a variety of mechanical and pneumatic tools. It will be your responsibility to demonstrate how to use the tools and teach the different termination techniques to build wiring harnesses.

Your responsibilities also include reviewing and updating outdated training, process manuals and shop aids to assist production. This requires being a subject matter expert on the various assembly methods of several aircraft programs (including F-16, F-22, C-130, etc.). This position requires half-hands-on and half administrative work to maintain the department tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TRAINING COORDINATOR

  • Two Years of Experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Assembly
  • Required
  • Experience Working with Mechanical & Pneumatic Tools
  • Required
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Required
  • Public Speaking or Speaking to Large Groups
  • Required
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001 Certification
  • Preferred
  • Photoshop and Video Editing Skills
  • Preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Preferred

TECHNICAL TRAINER WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time technical training coordinator position in production that works 1st shift on Monday

  • Thursday from 6:00 am 4:15 pm. You will enjoy having evenings and 3-day weekends off!
