Technical Trainer (NEOS)
Clearance: Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph
Location: Springfield, VA
Years of Experience: 11-14 Years
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience within related field
Instructor/Facilitator on the First Year Enrichment Team to support the New Employee Orientation Seminar (NEOS) and the 365 First Year Program. Experienced instructor required to perform the duties listed below. Please note that some travel (up to three two-day trips per year) may be required to present NEOS lessons or 365 first year events at NCW.
Develop and maintain the NEOS and curriculum related to the expanding First Year Enrichment program;
Provide support for the implementation of training courses and 365 First Year events;
Remain knowledgeable of the NGA organizational structure, mission, vision, goals and core values; and have knowledge about the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community structures;
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for curriculum development and curriculum maintenance for the NEOS and 365 First Year Program;
Serve as an instructor of the First Year Enrichment team working to define, develop and instruct relevant course material;
Stay current and abreast of changing technical and mission requirements across the Agency and where appropriate incorporate these updates into curriculum;
Provide systems and data checks, material handling, and other administrative support;
Provide outstanding customer service to all First Year Enrichment stakeholders and customers;
Execute Pre and Post Course Functions and tasks associated with NEOS and the 365 First Year program;
Setup each classroom in the appropriate configuration, supplies, and course materials (Coordinating with site contract, if applicable); Package course materials for each participant on the roster; Duplicate and collate student materials as needed; Pick up roster, evaluations and name tents and deliver them to the classrooms; Return the classroom to order and recycle materials for next course;
Maintain frequent and relevant communication with course graduates through their first year of employment with the agency; Use web-based collaboration tools and social media to communicate with students monthly and market 365 First Year events as they occur;
Sustain updates to the First Year Enrichment website and social media sites by utilizing the technical resources and tools available to the team;
Support the on-going improvement of the NEOS and 365 First Year Program by updating and populating shared file folder, producing lessons learned after each event, and updating training materials monthly;
Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner and follow-up with the Government Lead Instructor or Program Manager;
Implement a blended learning environment for the First Year Enrichment program to ensure students are able to learn in part through online delivery of content;
Other duties as required to assure successful completion of the course.

Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within a related field
Ability to instruct and facilitate a course for adult learners
Ability to conduct Curriculum maintenance
Ability to adjust curriculum and develop new curriculum based on stakeholder and student feedback
Ability to anticipate and meet the needs of new hires
At least 5 years demonstrated experience instructing adult learners
At least 3 years demonstrated experience maintaining Curriculum
At least 2 years demonstrated experience updating and maintaining content for informational website
Experience supporting new hires (onboarding)
Experience in course development
Experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
