SUMMARY OF DUTIES

This position provides technical training on production and operator methods and processes,

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1.Trains new employees on specific methods and processes required to build/pull/move product to required quality/department criteria.

2.Trains employees on processes and assembly methods, etc.

3.Documents employees' progress relative to following written procedures and performance. Provides written and verbal feedback to supervisors and employees regarding progress and improvement goals.

4.Develops and maintains training schedules and logs of all trained employees. Files must be in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and/or department guidelines.

5.Develops basic training programs and implements them under the direction of the training program manager and/or supervisors.

6.Develops, constructs and maintains training stations.

7.Interacts and communicates with department management and supports groups in ensuring training and development needs are met.

8.Assists with the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures for department related processes within the working environment.

9.Assesses the skills of employees and determines if additional training is needed.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education equivalent to a high school diploma and three years of experience in device production/operator methods and processes. Experience to include one year of training and one year of team based management. Years of experience may be concurrent.

  • Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.

  • Ability to train and develop employees.

  • Ability to demonstrate production tasks and provide constructive feedback regarding progress/ improvement.

  • Ability to work well with others and pay attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to read and write English.

  • Experience in a leadership role is preferred.

  • Bilingual language skills preferred.

  • Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.

COMMENTS

Infectious Control Risk Category III:

The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to come into contact with blood or body fluids while performing their jobs. Risk category III states employment and procedures that do not require exposure.
