POSITION CONTINGENT ON PROP 28.FUNDING The candidate selected for this position will teach aspects of technical theater to high school students. Concepts to be taught include set design, costuming, sound, props, lighting, effects, etc. This position requires after hours attendance at all theater arts events including, but not limited to, the school-wide musical, all theater arts department events, and the vocal, instrumental, and dance events. Experience in technical theater is a must. This position may be filled by a CTE Arts, Media, and Entertainment credentialed teacher OR a Dance or English credentialed teacher so long as the candidate has the required technical theater experience needed to teach these concepts. The ideal candidate will have: Classroom Management Skills Time Management Skills Ability to climb ladder Ability to carry 30 pounds of equipment comfortably The ideal candidate will be: Personable Reliable
