Essential Functions

  • Implements and maintains I/T systems and services.

  • Maintains these systems and services to be efficient and effective.

  • Creates standards for I/T systems and services to provide flexibility and maintainability.

  • Provides training materials and education to users of these systems.

  • Provides information to be used to promote the understanding and benefit of technology systems.

  • Directs the planning and scheduling of development and implementation of I/T capabilities.

  • Identifies deficiencies in I/T systems and recommends solutions/improvements.

  • Train, and develop staff to support I/T systems.

  • Provides information to management identifying personnel, hardware and software needs to provide appropriate levels of systems and services within the corporation.

Responsibilities

This position may be assigned (but is not limited to) one of the following key information technology disciplines and/or services:

1.) Business Systems (MSS and AMAPS)

2.) Strategic Technology

3.) Financial Systems

4.) Engineering Systems (CAD/CAM/PDM)

Qualifications

  • 4 year University / College Degree..

  • Project Leader experience in this or closely related environment.

  • Six or more years experience in Information Technology.

  • Professionalism : Excellence of work, responsible.

  • Managerial skills : Supervision, customer service, planning, written communication.

Performs standard test and/or preliminary evaluation programs for routine product failure analysis. Assist in the analysis of Customer problems, including specialized testing. Suggest ways and means of improving our products and product lines as necessary. Mechanical aptitude able to work on large and small equipment. Read, and understand engineering prints and specifications. Possess good oral and written communication skills. Type memos and letters using computers. Required to lift parts up to 25 pounds. Qualifications 1. Education Currently enrolled in Engineering degree program. 2. Experience Possess good mechanical experience and aptitude. Knowledge in personal computer skills, including the use of Word and Excel. Good interpersonal, written and verbal, communication skills. Familiarity with hydraulic components and/or systems a plus. Ability to read and understand engineering prints and specifications. 3. Computer Skills Demonstrated competency using computers and the following software as a minimum: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) 4. Other Skills Must have good mechanical aptitude.
