Point-of-sale system support and troubleshooting
Remote desktop support
Phone and Email support
Monitoring of logs to pre-empt potential problems;
Proactively maintain a desktop fleet;
Assisting in IT related projects
Promptly and politely resolving issues
Documenting and troubleshooting of issues in a ticketing system
Identify trends to assist in future problem resolution
Calling IT and staff to determine the root cause of an issue
Fault notification, errors reporting, and escalations of faults / errors
Helpdesk Practice and Procedures
TCP/IP Networking (Preferred)
Skills & Requirements
Degree qualified in IT or Computer Sciences, preferably with relevant industrial certifications.
Well-developed English language skills are essential.
Ability to work independently
Excellent timely service standard
