Responsibilities

  • First level helps desk support

  • Windows Desktop Support

  • Point-of-sale system support and troubleshooting

  • Remote desktop support

  • Phone and Email support

  • Monitoring of logs to pre-empt potential problems;

  • Proactively maintain a desktop fleet;

  • Assisting in IT related projects

  • Promptly and politely resolving issues

  • Documenting and troubleshooting of issues in a ticketing system

  • Identify trends to assist in future problem resolution

  • Dispatching support

  • Calling IT and staff to determine the root cause of an issue

  • Fault notification, errors reporting, and escalations of faults / errors

Experience

  • Microsoft Technologies

  • Helpdesk Practice and Procedures

  • TCP/IP Networking (Preferred)

Job Requirements

Skills & Requirements

  • Degree qualified in IT or Computer Sciences, preferably with relevant industrial certifications.

  • Well-developed English language skills are essential.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Excellent timely service standard

This position will play a key role maintaining our office's technological support. As an IT Support Technician, you will report directly to the IT Support Supervisor and primarily be responsible for assisting, supporting and problem solving technical issues. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish to support our business needs. Duties & Responsibilities: * Receive and respond to user inquiries and requests via telephone, email and tracking system * Ensure proper response and satisfactory resolution on open tickets * Maintain detail oriented documents regarding problems and solutions * Resolve remote connectivity issues, mobile configuration and troubleshooting * Interact with users, team members and management in-person, by phone and by email * Perform technical support tasks remotely or on-site * Assist other IT Support Technicians in the department * Provide technical support to all of our offices and branches * Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned * Office 365 & Exchange Server experience. Job Requirements * High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) * Technical school training, Degree or Certification; A+ Certificate * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish * At least one year of experience in IT Support experience or Technical Support role * Possess knowledge of Active Directory, Networking and advanced hardware maintenance * Experience with PC/MAC hardware, installing computer peripherals, software, components, troubleshooting and operating systems XP/VISTA/7/8/10 * The key characteristics this individual must possess are strong problem solving skills, be customer service oriented and have an ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work well with others and work well with minimal supervision * Preference will be given to candidates who have work experience with Server Infrastructure (Windows server 2003, 2008, 2012) and Exchange Servers Ria Financial is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer.
