Responsibilities:

  • Technical Customer Phone Support

  • Serve as liaison between customer and IPG technical staff

  • Issue RMAs as required and ensure RMA database entries are current

  • Coordinate scheduling of repair activities at IPG, both warranty and non-warranty

  • Support mid to high power laser pre- and post-installation activities

  • Support development of training modules for both IPG and Customers

  • Help manage failure analysis activities, including taking pictures and documenting failure analysis results

  • Create/revise work instructions, procedures, user manuals, training documents

Requirements

  • Technical AS degree/training or equivalent work experience

  • Laser/electronics background preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Dependable

  • Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office

  • Able to multitask

  • Travel approximately 20% including some international travel.

  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22C.F.R. 120.15 are required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee. License exception Technology and software under restriction (TSR) defined in 15 CFR 740.6 may permit person from Country Group B.
