Job Summary: As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance in a prompt and professional manner to our customers over the phone, via email and in person. Customer service will be a main focus, but you will still be responsible for knowledge of company procedures in hardware, software, networking, Windows, and ticket management. This position is an In-Office role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle customer technical support cases through phone and email submission.

  • Install & configure point of sale software, integrating credit card software and point of sale peripheral hardware devices.

  • Improve existing programs by evaluating objectives and specifications, reviewing proposed changes and making recommendations.

  • Maintain system functionality by testing computer components.

  • Maintain client confidence by keeping their information confidential.

  • Prepare reference material for users by drafting operation instructions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Education.

  • 1+ years' experience in hardware and software troubleshooting & resolution.

  • Hospitality/Restaurant/Retail experience a PLUS.

  • Windows Troubleshooting & Familiarity.

  • Android Troubleshooting & Familiarity.

  • Basic networking knowledge.

  • Debugging IT infrastructure or software issues.

  • Microsoft Office experience.

  • Strong ability to learn.

  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or shifts.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • CRM experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Outstanding work ethic.

  • Bilingual a PLUS (English and Spanish/Vietnamese/Chinese/Korean/French).

  • Compensation pay rate: $18 - $20

Traditional Physical Requirements:
