Technical Support Specialist

Job Description Job Description This position is on-site in Boiling Springs, SC with potential for a hybrid/remote schedule. AAC is seeking a motivated and eager IT professional to join a client in the Spartanburg, SC area as a Technical Support Specialist . This individual would be working with internal users and customers on a daily basis to troubleshoot technical issues.

Responsibilities : Assist client and local users of the company’s technology solutions in solving technical issues Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues received via phone, email, or walk-in’s Perform thorough follow up of help desk tickets Utilize internal ticketing system for help desk tickets involving operating systems, company software, and other software applications Requirements : 2-5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues through an IT support ticketing system Experience resolving network-based issues, configuration and installation of operating systems, and working with internal business applications Experience with user administration within Active Directory Strong understanding of basic networking concepts Strong PC skills and a passion for helping people understand information technology Preferred Technical Skills: Linux VoIP LAMP stack PHP SQL Company Description Advanced Automation Consulting, Inc., headquartered in Columbia, SC, is an IT Consulting Services firm focused on the long-term success of our clients and consultants.
