Technical Support Help Desk

Immediate need for a talented Technical - Help Desk Support (Information Technology). This is a 03+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Chicago, IL(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $20 - $23/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems.

• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.

• Monitor the Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority.

• Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation.

• Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software.

• Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.

• Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.

• Has knowledge how the ticketing system cycle works from the start of the ticket to the closure of the ticket with resolution.

• Also experience working with ticketing systems.

• Proactive with the team and easy to go along with the team.

• Diploma or equivalent.

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, or related field.
