Answer helpdesk phone calls, support and troubleshoot all aspects of the desktop and network environment including desktop computer and software systems, hardware and computer peripherals, networking, telecommunications and audio/video issues in an educational environment. Provide remote desktop support, configuration and installation services to various college campuses/sites.
Provide limited set up and support services related to printing functions on the network. Identify, research and resolve technical problems related to the desktop, network, telecommunication and audio/video environment. Track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution. May supervise student workers.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Document and log problems and resolutions through a service management platform for possible inclusion into the Knowledge Base.
Travel and/or temporary reassignment to remote sites to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems will be required. Candidate must have a current and valid driver's license as well as reliable transportation which meets State of Louisiana insurance requirements.
