Business Process Analyst Advisor

HOW A BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop business information processing systems. Coordinates remotely with business and technology teams.

Coordinates with business product owners to understand business workflows and capture requirements as user stories.

Has extensive experience generating user stories/task/sprint retro/release notes in a requirements capture tool, preferably Rally.

Works with the technical team to further explain the workflow associated with specific user stories and expected results.

Works with the testing team and may assist with testing to ensure the expected results are understood and met.

Needs to understand database tools/queries and API calls to coordinate with the technical team.

Needs to understand how to draft workflow diagrams and prepare presentation materials related to the workflow and business requirements.

Needs a good understanding of software development to interact effectively with the Business and technical teams.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Scrum Master Certification is a plus.

Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience in a technical environment

Required Technical Skills: Experience with Rally or similar tool in Agile environments

Security Clearance Level: Public Trust

Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and people skills.

Preferred Skills: Rally or similar requirements tool, Oracle SQL, REST principles (microservices/API calls)

The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
