Technical Specialist

• Automotive Powertrain Calibration for an independent company in Plymouth, MI engaged in the development of powertrain systems with internal combustion engines & transmissions as well as instrumentation and test systems. Position duties are developing engine calibrations to meet emissions standards including developing and implementing design and calibration solutions; developing test plans; performing verification testing in accordance with powertrain system functional objectives; utilizing engine and powertrain dynamometers to make data driven hardware and calibration decisions; and participating in the development of base engine hardware and calibration development processes.
  
  Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering field and 2 years' experience in the job duties as stated. The position is in Plymouth, MI with 25% travel to clients throughout the U.S. Position may require the individual to work at various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.
