About the team

We are providing Security L1/L2/L3/Engineering support for Identity, Network, App Security, Email Security based on Microsoft, Zscaler, Cisco and other ISV Tools following the cloud security model that provides organizations with a range of security solutions and services. This service model is designed to help organizations protect their networks, systems, and data from a variety of security threats, such as cyberattacks, data breaches, and unauthorized access.

• The scope of the Security Engineering Support defined here is based on the monitoring, management, and optimization of Security Services within client's environment.

• All Security Engineering Support Services defined here are delivered in English for verbal and written communication.

• All Security Engineering Support Services defined here are delivered on a 24x7x365 basis.

• The Security Engineering Support Services defined here are delivered remotely using Insight's Global Delivery Network, which includes personnel in India, North America, Europe, Asia Pacific regions.

Responsibilities -

• Minimum 6 years' experience and complete hands on in Defender for endpoint, a Min 3 -year experience in managing Microsoft purview and compliance solutions offered by Microsoft.

• Lead the deployment and configuration of Defender for Endpoint across Linux and Windows servers. Using SCCM and Chef.

• Expertise in troubleshooting endpoint onboarding issues, including agent deployment failures and connectivity issues for windows and Linux servers.

• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools in Windows Server environments to identify resource utilization issues affecting Defender for Endpoint.

• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and standards, such as CIS benchmarks, NIST SP 800-53, and GDPR, and implementing security controls to achieve compliance.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive analysis of security incidents and recommend remediation strategies.

• Management and optimization of key features within Defender for Endpoint, including ASR, Threat, and Vulnerability management, exploit protection, and EDR.

• Proficiency in Kusto Query Language (KQL) for analyzing large datasets collected by Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud.

• Collaboration with threat intelligence analysts to align detection capabilities with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.

• Lead sensitivity labels deployment planning and documentation in Microsoft Purview to ensure accurate data asset classification, effective data protection measures, and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Develop and implement data loss prevention (DLP) policies in Microsoft Purview, including DLP for endpoint to prevent unauthorized access, sharing, or leakage of sensitive data, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on best practices for implementing data classification, access controls, and data retention policies in Microsoft Purview.

• Document, present, and conduct training sessions to educate internal resources on the architecture, functionalities, and best practices of the Purview solution developed, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization organization wide.
