The Technical Services Veterinarian

  • Turkey is an integral part of our Sales team based out of our US

  • Teaneck, NJ - Remote site.

Position Details

Position exists to work as part of a key account team driving demand for PAHC products into the poultry industry by providing expert technical support to customers, building strong connections, and solving problems for key influencers primarily across the turkey industry including production managers, veterinarians, nutritionists, members of senior leadership as well as the academic community. Territory encompasses the turkey industry. The selected candidate can live in or near a major airport within the region. Ideal locations include Mid-Atlantic or Midwest near the major turkey producing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Phibro Sales Team as part of key account teams to advance revenue and earnings by providing timely, expert, technical information regarding the efficacy and value of Phibro products.

  • Assist in transforming the creation of solutions and customer value.

  • Design vaccine, medicated feed additive and nutritional specialty programs with customers that will enable them to achieve maximum performance from Phibro Products.

  • Provide key account leadership in the turkey industry aimed at understanding un-met needs and providing custom solutions via our autogenous vaccine business.

  • Provide the global marketing team with accurate, credible, and current technical information that will support the achievement of commercial objectives.

  • Assist poultry producers in the technical evaluation of production issues and then to provide logical solutions.

  • Develop, lead, and execute research trials designed to promote the use of the PAHC product lines.

  • Positively interface with industry decision makers, influencers, and key academic and scientific leaders in the US poultry industry in support of Phibro products.

  • Attend trade shows, academic conferences, and state poultry association meetings to foster relationships and stay in tune with issues facing the industry.

  • Keep management updated on current industry issues and trends

Education & Experience

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university.

  • Post-graduate or advanced training and/or experience in poultry health is preferred.

  • Experience in the turkey industry would be beneficial. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in at least one poultry segment and/or a combination of segments in the US poultry industry is required.
