We are looking for a Technical Service Representative to join our Spray Foam Insulation Technical Service team. This is a remote position that will ideally be located in Denver, CO or Salt Lake City, UT and will cover CO, UT, WY, ID, CA, OR, WA, MT, AZ, NM

In this role you will be responsible for leading and providing technical service and support on Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation (SFI) products to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to partners and customers on Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation products. Support will include phone, email, and on site field visits.

  • Provide authorized applicator training using the Carlisle SFI Application program.

  • Support product management team by conducting ease of use evaluations on company and competitor products.

  • Support R&D in new product evaluations internally and externally with customers.

  • Support product management with codes, standards and regulations.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams where new technology might be developed.

  • Act in accordance to company policies and best practices.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an applicator spraying polyurethane insulation systems with at least 1 year technical troubleshooting experience with Graco, PMC, and or other manufacturers' equipment.

  • Direct experience with Insulation, Coatings, Building Envelope Systems, and/or Roofing systems.

  • Strong knowledge of building science principles and best practices.

  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to work independently.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft suite (work, excel, outlook and power point); other web-based applications such as Customer Relations Management Systems, etc. required.

  • Must be willing to travel 70% depending on business needs.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills required. A high level of effective presentation skills to individuals and groups required.

  • Demonstrated focus on delivering optimal customer service directed at meeting customer needs and company goals and objectives required.

  • Demonstrated record of influencing key external stakeholders in the design process.

  • Established relationships and contacts within the design community is desirable.

Must be able to use a telephone, keyboard and view a computer screen. Able to operate vehicle in compliance with established procedures. Ability to lift 75 pounds. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master's Degree equals two (2) years experience.
