The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Cards and Retail Services, Deposit Products Group, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Payment Solutions, and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. Treasury Management (TM) is a key part of our Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovation team. Treasury Management includes managing and optimizing our customers' cash flow and mitigating its operational, financial, and reputational risk. We focus on creating operating efficiencies, cost savings and time savings for our customers by delivering treasury solutions through a consultative approach.

Join the Notice of Reclamation (NOR's) team of Wells Fargo ACH (Automated Clearing House) Services - the industry leader in electronic payments. The ACH NOR's team is responsible for many activities and duties related to the timely and accurate processing of ACH reclamation claims and support. The NOR's team members work with internal business and external partners to process reclamation requests for Government and Private large volume customers.

The candidate will be cross-trained on many different elements of the ACH process to insure all service level agreements are met daily. The candidate that fills this position will be staffed for the hours between 7:00am-6pm, with occasional overtime as needed. The responsibilities also include gathering data for daily statistical reporting, assisting other team members in the validation of work to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) goals, along with other tasks on the team, as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of information technology experience, technical customer service experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of technical service support

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Hogan experience

  • Ability to effectively listen and elicit information

  • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) skills

  • Exposure to Wells Fargo ACH (Automated Clearing House) System

  • Strong data entry and attention to detail skill

  • Good attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multisite team

  • Ability to succeed in a high pressure and complex environment

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of staff and management to resolve customer issues

  • Ability to provide timely completion of assigned tasks

  • 1+ years of related experience with research

  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively deal with a wide variety of internal and external customers

  • Demonstrated ability in taking the initiative on tasks, projects, etc.

  • Proven time management/efficiency skills

  • ACH experience and familiarity with ACH History, AES, and the ACH mainframe system screens

As an Encompass Claims Service Specialist, you will play a vital role to ensure we deliver on our promise to help restore people's lives after they've experienced a loss. Each day you will be responsible for managing a steady volume of new total loss claims. Process moderately complex claim activities related to non-technical claims in accordance with established quality, productivity and process standards on specific losses as directed by management or claim adjuster. Most importantly, you will work with our customers to guide them through the claims process in a caring and professional manner. You will handle every step from managing incoming calls and data entry, to filing reports and mail support. Responsibilities include: * Performs clerical duties, including data entry, filing paper documents, email, calendar management, and word processing * Handles total loss claim files (locates/requests files, files paperwork, reconstructs missing files, moves misfiled documents, sends to other offices, etc.) * Retrieves, prints, faxes, or mails supporting documentation to vendors or others as directed * Provides back-up for any support functions in the office * Investigate prior losses and other information on file and orders reports as needed at the direction of adjusters and management * Receives, screens and routes incoming telephone calls and other electronic correspondence * Contacts or receives contact from customers or other claim related third parties to obtain and/or provide necessary file information to comply with quality and process standards * Generates and sends appropriate forms to insured/claimant for completion * Processes claims payments * Completes all necessary forms, logs documents into the system, and routes them to the appropriate parties * Assists adjusters with more complex claim handling, analyze documentation and settle basic, straight-forward, and routine claims quickly and efficiently Job Qualifications * Minimum of 1 year customer service experience * High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) * Excellent customer service skills and a passion to help others * Ability to be a self-starter and work independently * Excellent time management skills * Claims background experience a plus * Strong geographic knowledge of surrounding area * Claims workflow experience is a plus * Critical thinking with the ability to make decisions with limited supervision * Strong organizational skills * Excellent oral, phone and written communication skills * Strong team skills are required * Strong computer, typing and grammar skills * Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply * Prior Military are encouraged to apply The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
