We are seeking a TECHNICAL SERVICE REP to join our team!

This role would help service the automotive, heavy truck, transportation, vehicle - uplifting and refuse markets for Vishay Transducers, Ltd. Provides customer service support / tracks and resolves critical issues that arise with the product(s).

  • Dealer trainings (install, calibrate and test systems)

  • Provide technical leadership and direction for on-board scale products

  • Devise technical solutions to solve problems

  • Applies high level of technical knowledge on application development technologies with sales, customers and dealers, takes existing products and works them into new applications

  • Collaborates with sales team, dealers and other colleagues to evaluate, deign and otherwise provide technical solutions that contribute to the delivery of cost effective business solutions

  • Develops strong relationships with customers; frequent customer presentations

  • Prepares technical data and papers for sales personnel and customers

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 years experience in truck / heavy equipment manufacturing or related field

  • 1+ years experience in customer service and field service / customer training

  • Scale knowledge and/or trucking industry knowledge

  • Technical aptitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and CRM software. On-board weighing, scale and/or transportation industry experience preferable.

  • Base salary range $90k - 115k

The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered, as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individual's unique set of knowledge, skills, education, experience and geographic location, as well as internal equity.
