Sartorius is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for our Sales Professional Product Group. You will be responsible for supporting growth of revenue by proactively managing a range of accounts throughout the territory through developing and maintaining strong relationships. The goal is to achieve any individual and any assigned group sales target within the financial year for the specified business area/product group.
What you will accomplish together with us:
Initiate and manage the full sales process within the assigned territory and product range
Maintain the CRM with relevant and up to date customer and sales opportunity information
Provide territory overviews upon management request
Customer centric ensuring customer satisfaction without compromising the business
Stay up to date on relevant scientific applications
Expand networks regional install base and sell/upsell additional products and services
Provide technical information and support
Organize product presentations and demonstrations with focus on customer applications
Complete quotations and negotiate deals
Accurately qualify customers according to scientific need and budget
Work closely with wider sales and support teams
What will convince us:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in life sciences or related field Some graduate degree preferred.
Proven Capital sales experience in Pharma/Biotech as well as in academia
Some hands on laboratory and or process based experience in BLI/SPR and/or flow cytometry
Experience in selling capital instrumentation and/or selling consumables/re-agents to clients in different sectors
Demonstrated understanding of purchase process of capital equipment in regional key accounts
Focused on meeting targets and deadlines
Capable of providing outstanding customer service
