Technical Sales Representative- Detroit Speed And Engineering

Holley, a leader in automotive aftermarket products, has an immediate opening for a Technical Sales Representative at Detroit Speed and Engineering

This position is responsible for providing world class customer service and technical support to Detroit Speed and Engineering customers across the brand. The selected candidate will spend most of their time answering product questions, resolving technical issues as well as selling products to consumers. Prior experience working with cars/trucks as well as any sales or customer service skills is preferred.

Key Job Elements:

• Provide world class customer service

• Answer customer product questions and technical questions

• Assist customers through the sale process

• Document and report technical or quality issues to product teams

• Provide suggestions for new products

Position Requirements:

• Be an automotive enthusiast with some technical experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• An ASE certificate or vocational certificate or 2 year degree in an automotive field (a plus)

• Computer skills required include word processing and spreadsheet knowledge.

• Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.

• Some travel required (approx. 4 weekends per year) to attend automotive events/races.
