You'll collaborate closely with both customers and other members of the sales team to proactively identify opportunities, translate designs into actionable solutions, and ensure specifications exceed customer expectations.

The Technical Sales Representative will also handle sales tasks, which could include but are not limited to, handling customer order calls, negotiating pricing and/or quoting, etc. What You’ll Do Foster a culture of safety awareness & safety prioritization. Ensure that quality standards are met, and champion quality ownership of the work center.

Enforce all company rules, policies, and procedures; communicate concerns with division management and/or Corporate. Proactively identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. Generate and submit technical sales quotes, negotiating pricing where appropriate.

Build strong customer relationships to understand their evolving needs and provide proactive solutions. Collaborate with the outside sales team to close deals and ensure a seamless customer experience. Analyze customer/engineering requests – such as diagrams, schematics, layouts, multi-view, and various drawings.

Determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts. File drawings and maintain catalogs of CAD/drawing data. Assist in compiling materials and specification sheets.

Assist with dimensions and annotate routine drawings. Assist with any other assigned duties that are given by a member of the ASA management team. Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by the division and/or corporate management team.

Experience and Certifications 2-3 years experience in fabrication estimation Familiarity with take-offs Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing organization preferred. Experience running CNC processing equipment is a plus.

Knowledge of structural fabrication is a plus. Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment. Software used in this role: o Paperless Parts o MIE Trak ERP (Manufacturing Software) o SigmaNest Critical Competencies Strong sales acumen and a results-driven mindset.

Ability to identify and capitalize on potential sales opportunities. Ability to read and understand customer prints, drawings, and models. Ability to work independently and be part of a team.

Creative problem solving Be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks. Proactive, solutions-oriented. A quick learner and ability to communicate with a diverse clientele group.

Good presentation skills and ability to communicate concisely. High energy, positive attitude, proactive problem solver. Attention to detail.

Strong mathematical aptitude. Education Requirements A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent such as a GED, is required. Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree is highly preferred.

Technical school and/or practical experience is highly preferred.
