The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for the delivery of the annual revenue target agreed jointly by their Geozone Sales VP/Director & the Geozone Business Manager (GBM) for their particular Product Line(s).
Generate business and increase revenues in the US Region through sales of Weatherford Automation products and services. Based in Katy, TX.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sell Automation Equipment and Services in the Region.
Develop and maintain contact with key decision makers within the customer base.
Assist Region Sales personnel, customers and potential customers on the technical issues of Automation.
Develop new business through use of resellers and distributors.
Work closely with Branch Plants for product service and support.
Work closely with the Software Sales team.
Conduct sales presentations and customer seminars for the Region.
Up to 50% Travel.
Work with other sales staff in the region to maximize lead generation.
Provide input as to changing market conditions of customers to assist in the development of the marketing strategy.
Generate and submit bids to existing and potential customers as needed
Relate field/customers issues to technical support and services to ensure resolution.
Visit customer worksites to ensure that product meets customer expectations.
Work with local services infrastructure to ensure customer satisfaction.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
High School diploma or higher.
High level of motivation.
Sales Quota driven
Ability to work independently as well as work as a member of a team.
Minimum 2 years' experience selling or supporting Automation.
Valid driver's license.
Automation equipment knowledge.
Ability to drive Automation Sales
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
