Southeast Technical Sales Manager
World leading Gate Automation and Access Control manufacturer, with US head office in Florida since 2006, is seeking a Southeast Technical Sales Representative. Based in the South Florida the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing accounts within the Gate Automation market throughout the South Eastern States.
Primary duties include: prospecting for new business (through development of potential customers and winning market share), growing existing accounts, and providing post-sales service and technical training. Requirement:
Minimum 3+ years outside sales experience, preferably in the gate/access control or related industry
Excellent customer service skills
Understanding of channels of distribution
Prior experience cold calling on new and potential customers
Excellent presentation skills and follow up
Ability to recognize and pursue sales opportunities with minimal assistance
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently once trained.
Strong technical aptitude gained by selling technical application products
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
Must be a self-starter with strong desire to be part of a growing company
