This position will lead the productionization of the Apache EO program's technical refresh designs. This effort includes technical management of cross-functional engineering activities including integration, verify, and production test implementation.

This position will coordinate and align engineering activities with production operations to support hardware fabrication, test, and customer deliveries. The individual should have demonstrated the ability to build collaboration within and among teams to build understanding and consensus. The individual selected for this role will be the primary customer contact for technical status. This will included schedule status, technical risks/opportunity, test coordination, and program status reviews.

The Locale: Orlando is a city in the Central Florida area.

This region is a great place to live and to raise a family. Central Florida offers lots of attractive residential housing options. The Greater Orlando metropolitan area is the sixth largest metro area in the southeastern United States.

The climate here is warm and sunny all year long for the most part. Orlando is home to the University of Central Florida (UCF), Walt Disney World, and SeaWorld. Where can you get to from Orlando?

Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1 and hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (or similar) with a concentration in Circuit design involving FPGA, DSPs and High-Speed signaling through either relevant experience.

  • Good oral, written communication and presentation skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of schematic capture and layout tools

  • Knowledge of Microsoft project or equivalent

  • Knowledge of FPGA Firmware architecture and design

  • Experience with EVMS

The RF Engineering Lead will participate in the advanced sensor development by performing trade studies, performance analysis, requirements derivation, integration and test, and will be responsible for the overall technical performance of the sensor system. This position requires an understanding of sensor performance trades, as well as integration and test approaches. Familiarity with RF technologies and advanced RF hardware fabrication techniques is required. Basic Qualifications: Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform the following Systems RF Design and Analysis assignments: Demonstrate a strong fundamental understanding of radar and RF systems and associated performance modeling. Develop RF systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation. Coordinate vendors and other team members in development of passive/active RF sensor systems for test/evaluation. Assist in the flow down of RF and radar requirements to testable modular hardware and software. Define requirements capability for Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH) or passive RF electronic surveillance (ES) hardware. Demonstrate capability in ES/ARH systems engineering, algorithm development, and signal processing. Demonstrate mastery of simulation and analysis tools. (MATLAB).
