Ness Digital Engineering is building a scalable recruiting infrastructure to support long-term growth, and the company needs a professional and welcoming face with a discerning eye to help get candidates in the door. This key role in the Operations team will own the candidate pipeline, from sourcing to the maintenance of a talent pool of qualified candidates.

As a Recruitment Specialist you'll bring your experience building talent pools to support recruiting for highly specialized, technical skill sets. As the first-contact agent for new team members, you will set the tone for the interview process and subsequent employment. You will be expected to understand the company's business and technologies and to represent our work to candidates. You'll also have an opportunity to shape the company's best practices in sourcing and recruiting.

This position will be contract-to-hire

As a Ness Technical Recruiter, you will:

  • Collaborate with company leaders to define and document open job requisitions
  • Actively communicate with Risk Focus colleagues and leaders on hiring progress, status, and concerns
  • Develop and maintain a talent pool of qualified candidates
  • Actively seek out candidates through paid and unpaid tactics in order to fulfill both recurring and niche job requisitions, for both employment and contract positions
  • Attend in-person recruiting and networking events in the Pittsburgh area (some, off-hours)
  • Establish and manage all recruitment marketing efforts, coordinating with corporate marketing
  • Develop, coordinate, and administer online tests of candidates' technical qualifications
  • Develop, maintain, and provide regular reporting on a recruiting budget
  • Possess a conversational understanding of the skills and technologies required of our candidates
  • Leverage industry-standard online recruiting tools to support your work


Candidates must have:

  • 5+ years experience in recruiting and hiring, managing all stages of the pipeline (from sourcing to offer)
  • 3+ years experience in recruiting for technical positions; Software Developers, QA Automation Engineers, SysOps Engineers, DevOps Engineers, etc.
  • Experience proactively seeking out candidates through paid and unpaid means, without relying on third-party recruiting/placement firms
  • Absolute compliance with anti-discriminatory regulations, and common sense
  • Experience managing a candidate pool using an Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience fulfilling positions at all levels of career experience (from entry-level to executive)
  • Exemplary written and spoken communications skills
  • Experience designing and overseeing successful recruitment marketing campaigns
  • Fluency in English
  • An uncontrollable need to learn, grow, and contribute

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Hands-on, or thorough coursework, experience in software development, QA, or related technical roles
  • Knowledge of AWS offerings
  • Experience recruiting Salesforce Technical candidates
  • Experience in establishing, configuring, and maintaining recruiting software tools
  • Experience with technical qualification tools/tests and practices
  • Experience with international data privacy regulations
