Job Summary: We seek a dynamic Full Cycle Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building diverse talent pipelines and managing the full recruitment process across various job families. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our dedicated recruiting team to support the needs of our organization, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders and executing strategic candidate outreach.
- This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.*
Responsibilities:
- Identify, source, and engage top talent using innovative, diverse multi-channel methods.
- Manage pipeline activity and provide actionable insights to enhance talent strategies based on data analytics.
- Design and implement effective recruiting plans in collaboration with hiring teams.
- Develop a deep understanding of Epirus' business and culture to ensure alignment in hiring.
- Recruit values-aligned candidates who are passionate about Epirus' mission.
- Cultivate relationships with hiring managers and continuously improve our recruitment processes.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape and implement diversity recruitment strategies in a fast-paced environment.
- Educate hiring managers on best practices for interviewing and decision-making.
- Create an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring a positive and engaging process throughout
- Build recruiting strategies that contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing best practices around referrals and process improvements where needed
- Act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, continuous process improvement, process automation, and candidate management
- Conduct interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios
- Engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, and referrals
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, strongly focusing on SWE, ML, AI, and Systems roles
Proven ability to engage and successfully close candidates top tier talent
Experience working collaboratively with hiring managers to design inclusive recruitment processes
Data-driven mindset with a passion for utilizing metrics to inform recruiting strategies
Proficient in ATS systems, with Greenhouse experience preferred
Deep network of talent within the software and hardware engineering worlds
Strong understanding of the technical skills and experience required for Engineering positions within the business
Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit within the organization
Highly organized and adept at thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Background in startups and/or in-house recruitment within the Defense, Aerospace, or Military sectors.
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated success sourcing in niche technical areas within space and software engineering
- Self-directed with a high sense of urgency while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-service mindset.
Additional Requirements:
- This is a hybrid position that requires to be onsite at least 3 days a week or as necessary.
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., and a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
