Constant is looking for an enthusiastic and detailed-oriented individual to join our team as a Technical Project Manager.

As a (Technical) Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as main point of contact for cross-functional partners to plan, coordinate, and manage project tasks
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Work with project team members to identify and resolve issues
  • Track and report project performance, including analysis of short and long-term goals
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule
  • Drive engagement across cross-functional teams, supporting workstreams to create and execute on project deliverables as well as working to streamline bottlenecks
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple projects
  • Convert customer requests to actionable items

Requirements

  • A bachelors degree or masters degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a project, program, or engineering manager, and/or experience as a senior engineer leading projects
  • Demonstrated experience working across functions, managing large cross-functional workstreams to deliver enterprise objectives
  • Possess stellar interpersonal skills with a strong sense of responsibility and personal initiative
  • Adept in working with Google Suite (docs, sheets, etc)
  • Good understanding of the software engineering process.

Salary Range: 65k-125k

The Project Manager is responsible for directing and mentoring on-site staff. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have string communication and client service skills. Reports to: Senior Project Manager Duties/Responsibilities: * Responsible for the safety of all assigned employees and subcontractors to ensure the safe execution of all activities, including the strict adherence to HPA safety policies and programs through the communication and enforcement of HPA Safety and Health Program, including the ability to independently stop work for a safety violation or suspected safety violation * Full knowledge of Contract Documentation (e.g. Drawings, Technical Specifications, General Conditions, etc.) * Negotiate contract modification with client, subcontractor and vendors * Ensure compliance with Small Business requirements * Ensure timely notices as required to the Owner to protect HPA interest regarding extra work, design changes, delays, impact, etc. which requires independent contract analysis * Manage and/or coordinate Company personnel and resources for the project (s) * Assist with preconstruction efforts * Manage all aspects of project from inception * Prepare and execute Project Executive Plan * Prepare trade contracts and bid packages, as well as oversee procurement process * Oversee performance of project including, project status, schedule, cost control, change management system * Maintain relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors, vendors and consultant * Attend and lead project meeting, including progress, pre-construction and pre-award. * Review inspection and test date for compliance with specifications * Develop and maintain site logistic plan, in coordination with Superintendent * Assist to set-up QA-QC procedures and conduct quality inspections * Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring others. * Prepare, submit and follow-up monthly payments to the client. * Review and approve monthly subcontractor's pay applications. * Review and approve vendor's invoices. Qualifications: * BS in Engineering or Construction Management * 1 to 5 years working as Assistant Project Manager in the Pump Station Construction or Heavy Civil Construction Industry * Dependability * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Strong decision making/problem solving skills * Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong management skills * Ability to develop or maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and vendors * Exhibits strong leadership qualities * Functions effectively as part of a team * Estimating skills * Familiar with grading, drainage, paving (asphalt and concrete), bridge construction, retaining walls, plumbing, electrical and mechanical and all other pump station construction scopes * Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented * Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word * E-Builder, eCMS and/or RMS system experience is preferred * Procore experience is preferred * Bluebeam experience is preferred * Autodesk Revit experience is preferred Harry Pepper requires all employees to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
