Responsibilities:

  • Worksindependently with business partners to identify and implement medium to largetechnical projects, as defined by Company methodology, such as broad-basedinformation systems, full life-cycle application development, buildingenterprise applications or data warehouse planning and development.

  • Managesprojects at least $5-7 M in size or equal complexity.

  • Directssystem analysts, software designers and programmers to determine best methodsto achieve project objectives.

  • Responsiblefor applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques toproject deliverables, processes, and systems.

  • Inaddition to all responsibilities of a project manager which include managingall aspects of a project including initiating, planning, executing, closing andcontrolling, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coachesand mentors project team members;

  • Mentorsother project managers around project management methodology;

  • Determinesproject scope;

  • Developsresource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans;

  • Developstraining plans;

  • Developsrequirements documents;

  • Developsproject approval matrix;

  • Identifiesproject team training and tool needs;

  • Defines,recommends and secures contractual agreements for technical services andproducts;

  • Coordinatesrequirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and developsservice-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms;

  • Definesquality gates for each project methodology phase;

  • Definescritical success factors;

  • Establishesand manages the project warranty period.

  • Actsas subject matter expert for project and program management related tools andprocesses.

  • BA/BSin information systems or related major;

  • 7years of project management experience in broad-based information systems,with at least 3 years leading and directing project tasks; or any combinationof education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • ProjectManagement certification (PMP) preferred.

  • Demonstratedapplication of and proven success of project management methodology,management tools, analysis and research tools, documentation tools, andreporting tools required.

  • Experiencein coaching and mentoring project team members preferred.

  • Experiencein creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships,negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managingresources in a matrix environment, communicating and influencingeffectively at all levels of an organization required.

  • Demonstratedapplication of project management methodology preferred.

  • Experiencewith portfolio management applications and Rational tools preferred.

  • Experience within Custom Development environment required.

This would include but not be limited to the email channel, SMS/MMS initiatives, data/list management, online media and promotional support, and both brand and direct marketing in order to maximize client business/marketing objectives. This role is responsible for end-to-end project management/campaign operations and internal relationship building. Responsibilities: * Oversee the project definition, management and execution of email channel programs, including but not limited to, email campaign management, social media integration, landing pages and support sites, online media and promotions, and affiliate marketing, in order to maximize client business/marketing objectives * Day to day contact for the respective internal Enterprise client; able to build strong client relationships while executing up-sell and cross-sell to organically grow the business * Accountable for each assigned marketing/media project and each phase of the online marketing/media process: strategy, planning/buying, trafficking, optimization, and measurement analysis and ROI * Works directly with the creative, development and account teams to ensure that each project is on strategy, on time and within budget * Serve as a point of integration for multiple agency departments; ensure integrated program management * Able to write solid proposals and strategies for a variety of verticals * Help identify and qualify vendors for partnerships * Manage third-party vendors and contractors and evaluate new opportunities for the client on an ongoing basis * Stay up-to-date on and advises clients of the latest trends in email marketing/media (i.e. kinetic elements, responsive dev technique) * Participate in new project development and new business efforts as required by management * Has a conversant understanding of common digital tools and techniques (HTML/CSS, .NET or PHP, database design/development, etc.) Required Skills: * 3-5 years of email campaign operations/marketing program/project management experience * Able to provide inventive, but measurable, solutions for client challenges * Experience with Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms (i.e. Harmony, Cheetahmail, ExactTarget, Yesmail, Responsys, Zeta, SilverPop, etc…) * Deeply familiar and passionate about email marketing concepts, practices and programs.
