Aufgaben

  • development and management of rail projects
  • achieving internal and contractual goals while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • present project status reports to management
  • coordinate with engineering teams to meet technical specifications
  • allocate and manage project resources efficiently
  • assuring the quality of executed work, within time and budget
  • negotiation of contracts (needs to have strengths in conclusion of contracts)
  • common selection of reasonable partnerships with subcontractors and suppliers, together with Management
  • prepares the procurement plan and participates in the process of selection/acquisition of materials/equipment/subcontractors necessary for the realization of the Project according to the Employer's internal procedures
  • prepares the execution schedule of the Project in accordance with the contractual requirements
  • manages and reports whether the execution of the works is carried out in compliance with the contractual clauses and the contents of the Tender specifications
  • updates the budget and cash-flow of the Project, monthly in accordance with the progress of the works and with the activities planned to be carried out within the Project, ensuring the necessary resources for its smooth implementationensures the preparation and issuance of monthly payment statements to the Beneficiary, as well as the quality
  • documents that certify the completion of the work stages
  • ensures the preparation of progress reports and their transmission. It will approve the start report, progress reports,
  • report at the end of the works, reports during the guarantee period of the works, final report, work situations and any other reports/documents requested by the Beneficiary
  • ensures the analysis of payment statements drawn up by suppliers/subcontractors in accordance with the supply and subcontract contracts
  • project personnel selection and organizing project start up
  • close collaboration with the commercial & supporting units
  • leading the project team
  • identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • facilitate communication and collaboration among all parties
  • advanced knowledge of FIDIC

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Railway engineering;

  • At least 15 years' work experience as PM; extensive work experience in railway superstructure (an advantage)Engineer's licence

  • Good computer skills

  • MS Office, AutoCad, MS-Project; iTWO an advantage
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

  • Valid driver's licence - active driver;

  • Proactive, motivated, teamwork skills, independent, dedicated, and accurate way of working, social and intercultural skills

Quality and cost awareness

  • Understanding of engineering and construction

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
