Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager at Mews, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering complex technical projects spanning multiple teams and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, deep technical expertise, and a proven track record of successfully leading projects in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

• Drive project execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and deliverables.

• Proactively identify, monitor and mitigate risks to project success.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, QA, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.

• Foster effective communication and information sharing across teams.

• Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to meet project goals.

• Work closely with team leads to optimize resource utilization and capacity planning.

• Possess a deep understanding of SaaS architecture, development processes, and technology stack.

• Provide guidance and insights to technical teams to overcome challenges and ensure successful project delivery.

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for project success.

• Understand the value stream, identify waste and opportunities and improve the delivery processes.

• Regularly communicate project status, key milestones, and potential risks to stakeholders.

• Manage expectations and provide timely updates to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Technical Project Manager in a SaaS environment.

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Shape Up, etc.).

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.

• PMP, Prince2, Scrum, or similar certifications are a plus.

• Experience in Jira and Confluence is a plus.

• Experience in Data Analysis and BI is desirable.
