POSITION: Technical Project Manager (part of Customer Experience/Digital Operations)

The Technical Project Manager position will report to the Digital Operations business team with the primary role of leading technology projects and next generation experiences from design and development through testing, launch and hyper-care. As a member of the Customer Experience and Digital Operations team, the Technical Project Manager will be immersed in the customer vision and business objectives, quickly becoming the biggest advocate and go to expert for assigned projects.
The ideal Technical Project Manager is equally comfortable working with technical and business teams with demonstrated ability to bring together stakeholders and internal/external partners to deliver the desired customer experiences and business results. Project and stakeholder teams may range from 5-50 or more people based on the scope of the project and the variety of skillsets necessary to deliver.
Technical Project Managers are involved early in the project design process and assume ownership of the project at the time of kick-off. They are expected to advise leadership on project scope, resourcing needs, design/build/testing approach and governance structure to ensure project success. Following hyper-care and acceptance testing, the Technical Project Manager transfers the project to the proper business stakeholders. Depending on the project requirements, he/she may remain active to lead iterative releases and continuous improvement cycles.
Actively participate in determining project requirements, including design thinking methods to help identify the ideal minimally viable products and iterative release cycles as applicable
Ensure business objectives are properly translated, documented and understood by all necessary stakeholders
Lead project development and implementation, acting as single point of contact and primary project business owner from design through hyper-care
Collaborate productively with various internal parties and external agencies to deliver on project objectives. Must be comfortable working with agile processes and sprint management
Co-lead project governance process with IT counterpart to ensure scope, timelines and budget are maintained and risks are properly managed and communicated
Must have 4+ years of experience managing digital and technology projects and history of partnering well with various business and IT functions
Bachelors degree required
Must be passionate about customer experience delivery and have demonstrated success at contributing to a positive, collaborative culture
