Genesis10 is currently seeking multiple IT Project Managers to work in Dallas, TX on a long-term contract supporting our banking industry client.

Summary:
Responsible for using best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholder's/sponsor's needs and deliver on desired outcomes. Use Project Management tools to manage projects (task plan, resources, budget, schedule, status reports, risks, issues, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop integrated baseline project plans applying estimating models, identify resources and skills required, document estimating assumptions, refine plans and manage performance against them.

  • Recommend best solutions based on understanding of business issues.

  • Provide task-based schedule and cost forecasts and assist in assessing risk-based provisions.

  • Capture and track program metrics and perform analysis.

  • Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.

  • Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them.

  • Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.

  • Manage project closure initiatives, such as client satisfaction survey and closure analysis.

  • Document and archive project activities, deliverables, tools and findings for future projects

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of direct technology related Project Management experience.

  • Recent experience running agile projects

  • Experience with CA PPM (Clarity) is preferred

  • Experience with financial management of projects

  • Experience managing projects using the software development lifecycle

  • Must have excellent organization and planning skills

  • Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in IT related field). Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of education.

  • Advanced MS Project and MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) skills.

  • Banking/Financial Services preferred

  • Visio skills are a plus.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.

  • Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.

  • Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.

  • Highly organized with good time management & prioritization skills.

  • Customer service orientation, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical thinker with creative problem solving skills and attention to detail

  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)

Desired:

  • PMP or other project management related certification preferred.

Technical Project Manager Overview: The Technical Project Manager will execute all aspects of a diverse, very complex information technology project or multiple large-scale IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost. You will lead the development of program/portfolio management. As the Technical Project Manager, you will undertake the most complex, information technology projects from the original concept through the final implementation as well as ensures that the projects are aligned with Netsmart Technologies Inc. standards and IT strategies. You will be able to demonstrate visioning and expertise with regard to the project lifecycle and the systems development lifecycle.
