The position
The Technical Project Manager (TPM) position sits within our Professional Services team, comprised of fee-earning resources that deliver customer implementations and integrations. Our Technical Project Managers manage the effective deployment of Agreement Cloud Programmes to time, cost and quality, accelerating time to value whilst also managing and mitigating risks.
Best practice solution design paired with controlled delivery leads to successful implementation, end-user adoption and ultimately customer success. The TPM is the primary overlay for ensuring this success, by orchestrating project resources (Solution Architects, Product Consultants and Technical Consultants) to collectively drive to the required customer outcomes.
This position is an Individual Contributor and position reports to the Regional Delivery Director.
Responsibilities
Full lifecycle management of DocuSign Agreement Cloud programmes - managing the process from discovery, through to design, build, test, training, deployment, into hyper-care, handing over to support and ensuring appropriate project close.
Applying a right resource, right time approach ensuring that customers have the relevant Agreement Cloud expertise engaged as it is required.
Accelerating time to value - ensuring an average revenue conversion rate of 75% by ensuring customer preparedness for each project phase.
Commercial control of scope, plan and resource burn rate, in accordance with contractual Statements of Work. Issuing of Change Control Notices as appropriate.
Ensuring indirect partner resources are operating within the scope of their back-to-back agreement.
Effective senior stakeholder management including customers business and IT functions, as well as their third-party vendors.
Managing customer escalations and finding commercially and technically sound resolutions at pace.
Keeping internal and customer stakeholders updated on progress.
Executing according to the DocuSign Service Delivery methodology, ensuring core deliverables (projects plans, risk logs etc.) are developed and maintained to the highest standards.
Assuring adoption ensuring post go-live usage and consumption is aligned with the forecast volumes. Effective interoperability with adjacent teams Sales Teams, Engagement Managers, Customer Success Managers and other Professional Services Colleagues. Proactively keeping them updated on progress and issues.
Compliant Professional Services Automation (PSA) system management, in accordance with requirements specified by finance and resourcing teams.
Ability to flex and switch between smaller configuration projects and large-scale development programmes.
Meeting an individual utilisation target of 75% and enabling project resources to maximise their utilisation.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale programmes to time, cost, quality and scope.
Proven and successful experience of software project delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience of working alongside System Integrators and exposure to release management processes.
Proven track record of working on multiple projects simultaneously and managing expectations and priorities
Experience of using MS Project and/or other project management tools.
Requirement to travel circa 25% across Europe and occasionally to the United States.
Fluency in written and spoken French language.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in delivering SaaS implementations, ideally SFDC
Agile/Scrum Master qualified.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and/or Prince II Certified
Experience of using:
Financial Force and Professional Services Automation (PSA)
Smartsheet
JIRA and Confluence
CRM solutions such as SalesForce.com
Programming languages C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML and XML
