Qualifications. . .

  • 5+ years of software product management or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge and experience with data visualization and data modeling projects

  • Demonstrated experience delivering data warehousing and data science services as part of a larger enterprise analytics application, serving both the end customer and other product lines

  • Ability to lead a team of Data Scientists

  • Some R or Python exposure

  • Computer Science or Engineering degree required, MBA preferred

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies preferred

  • Advanced written and verbal communication with the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent presentation and listening skills, with ability to think quickly and deliver consultative response

  • 10+ years Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time

  • Ability to make real-time autonomous decisions when conditions change, based on understanding of the user context, business objectives, and client needs

About the Team. . .

Work within a team focused on overall corporate strategy, in shared service engineering teams, with a focus on root cause analytics and decomposing current ETL; documenting business rules, source target mapping, data modelling and supporting a data migration to a new data platform.

This position The Technical Project Manager is a key member of the Technology Program Management team and will drive infrastructure and operations scrum teams to deliver results against key technology initiatives. The project manager will work closely with program management, stakeholders and scrum teams to plan backlog, sprints and releases, facilitate Agile ceremonies and improve best practices. The project manager will be responsible for the creation, administration and oversight of JIRA boards and implement and maintain JIRA standards. The successful candidate will have proven ability to drive consensus and provide direction to multiple cross-functional teams while maintaining efficient plans, tracking issues and proactively communicating status. This position is an individual contributor and reports to the Senior Director, Technology Program Management. Responsibilities * Work closely with program managers and stakeholders to drive the success of key deliverables * Perform the duties of a scrum master using Agile and Scrum/Kanban best practices. Assist teams to organize and adopt Agile methodology and framework * Facilitate scrum meetings and make sure planned tasks are executed and completed on schedule * Coordinate sprint backlogs, sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure teams are focused on prioritized tasks * Create and maintain project JIRA boards and align teams to best practices * Gather team metrics/KPIs to drive focus on progress and continuous improvement * Drive collaboration with project teams, raising issues in a timely manner to remove roadblocks * Organize and handle multiple technical, infrastructure teams and maintain strong communication across multiple stakeholders Basic Qualifications * BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience * 3+ years of Scrum Master experience running multiple scrum teams simultaneously * 3+ years working in JIRA and Confluence with solid hands-on experience and skills * Strong Agile methodology, framework and project management experience Preferred Qualifications * Demonstrated capability and experience using JIRA and Confluence to manage Agile scrum teams * Certified scrum master with strong knowledge and experience of JIRA and Agile methodology, frameworks and best practices * Detail-oriented with excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
