Title: Technical Project Coordinator

Locations: Phoenix, Arizona

Duration: 8 Months

C2C and STEM-OPT are not available

Only U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. can be considered as W2 candidates.

Work with PC Techs, DTS Management and Local Onsite Contacts (LOC) to coordinate various Desktop Support related projects, including but not limited to PC Refresh, other technology deployments (Location Moves, Digital Signage, Security Badging, UPS deployments, etc). May work with both software and hardware deployments. Will work with local and remote office personnel to schedule onsite activities on a daily basis.

Partner with Telecom and Network techs and third party Vendors provide the right resources at the right times during deployments.. Excellent interpersonal skills and responsiveness to customers and technicians are a requirement. Interact with other project management and technical leads to understand subsystem and component specifications and recommend changes to facilitate efficient and effective development. Provide detailed project plans for deployments and keep track of maintenance and enhancement efforts. Utilize our Incident/Request Management system insuring that work activities are assigned and followed up with.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in Windows OS
  • 5 years of experience in Internet/Browser
  • 5 years of experience in Incident Management (ITL)

ADWR is continually protecting Arizona's water supplies for its next century. ADWR is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Water Planning & Permitting Division/Statewide AMAs Section. JOB SUMMARY This position will be responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities related to AMA Management Plans, which may include: coordinating with Statewide AMA Director, AMA Management Plan Project Manager, and other staff on compilation and promulgation of AMA Management Plans; generating and tracking public notices and conservation requirement mailings related to Management Plans; coordinating with Legal and other staff on scheduling public meetings and administrative hearings related to Management Plans; and other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs) Knowledge of the occurrence, behavior, and significance of water in nature; the environmental, social, and economic aspects of water supply and utilization; current concepts and practices in water resource management; current laws and regulations regarding water supply and utilization in Arizona; information sources, research methods and techniques utilized in water resources management; Groundwater Code provisions, rules, and policies related to AMAs and ADWR programs. Ability to compile water resources management data appropriately; provide accurate and efficient customer service to all entities; understand complex statutes and ADWR rules, policies, and procedures; work collaboratively on teams; manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously; communicate effectively orally and in writing to both internal and external customers; maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and members of the public. Skills in interpersonal, written, and oral communication; working well within a team environment; applying analytical and research methods and techniques; researching, reading, analyzing, and evaluating documents; organization; and interacting with members of the regulated community. SPECIAL FACTOR(S): This position requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment.
