This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment in Troy, Michigan.

Summary:

Our technical project coordinators participate in the development of innovative interior sensing technology designed to enhance the safety and comfort of the vehicle cabin. Interior sensing is a new and rapidly growing area that provides life-saving products such as driver drowsiness/attention monitoring, seat belt recognition, and left-behind child detection, as well as convenience features such as gesture recognition. In this role, you will be working closely with global engineering, marketing and sales teams to define, execute and promote the next generation of interior sensing algorithms and product concepts.

Responsibilities:

Oversee technical project execution, ensuring team's accountability for project scope, deliverables, and budget
Maintain all project-related documents as current, properly files and easily accessible
Provide regular status updates to management and customers
Develop and maintain customer relationships through frequent interactions
Manage demonstration properties
Develop and deliver customer presentations, including product demonstrations

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering, computer science, physics, or related field of study)
3+ years of experience leading technical projects as a project manager, team lead or project owner, including use of project management tools such as Jira boards and Microsoft Project.
Track record of working closely with tough customers and building enthusiasm
Writing / communication skills

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

Master's degree in a technical discipline
6+ years of experience leading technical projects as a project manager, team lead or project owner, including use of project management tools such as Jira boards and Microsoft Project.
Experience with agile development methodologies
Experience as a trade show demonstrator
Experience with development processes such as Automotive SPICE, CI/CD or Functional Safety
Familiarity with computer vision or machine learning
Familiarity with radar applications
PMP certification
