We are searching for a technical experienced Program Manager to champion and facilitate our scrum process. This person will work cross-functionally with the Engineering, Product, and QA teams, acting as a spokesperson and working to eliminate any roadblocks. This is a player/coach role where you'll manage will manage our other scrum masters and report directly to our VP of Engineering. Through communication and leadership, you will ensure that each part of the organization is working in accordance with agile principles and completing all required tasks so that projects are completed on time.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Manage the program-level execution of work across multiple delivery teams working across organizational boundaries to define roadmaps and program interdependencies using Agile methodology

  • Manage a team of scrum masters and provide insights to schedule, manage, and facilitate Scrum events

  • Guiding a team to organization on Agile/Scrum practices and values

  • Guiding a team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks

  • Taking requirements from product teams and translating them into tangible action items for the engineering organization

  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

  • Generating Team/Release Burn Down chart to measure velocity and communicate status to teams /management.

  • Providing transparency using Jira Dashboards for team members.

  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization

  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within the scrum

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in an Agile environment

  • Experience leading or mentoring other scrum masters or technical resources

  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM or SAFe CSM) strongly preferred

  • Experience leading multiple scrum teams in an agile environment

  • Assertive - must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum methodologies are being adhered to and make the tough calls

  • Excellent Communication and Leadership skills

  • Experience working within Product organizations specifically; not just IT

  • Previous Software Engineering strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)

  • Release management experience.

  • Detailed understanding of the software development life cycle

This is a technical role on a team with equally dedicated and passionate engineers supporting our IAM services. The Principal IAM Technical Program Manager will be based with the Global Technology Team in Austin, TX. The internal job title in Principal Identity and Access Engineer. Responsibilities: * Drive the execution of the next generation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) security technologies, including owning the overall roadmap, producing regular status updates, and diving deep to resolve issues as they arise * Drive the project management and delivery of key partners for new IAM platforms that will directly drive security improvements * Work closely with technology and business stakeholders across Whole Foods Market and associated organizations * Lead cross-functionally to accelerate the development and deployment of new security features * Proactively identify and resolve challenges and issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, business, and technical goals * Own the overall roadmap as the IAM Technical Program Manager producing status updates and diving deep to resolve issues as they arise * Establish IAM security architecture and strategies * Securely manage the identity lifecycle, including user authentication and authorization for on-premise and cloud solutions * Develop solutions using a cloud first approach within Amazon Web Services (AWS) * Lead security projects from initial conception through design, testing, and implementation * Evaluate vendor solutions to ensure they meet technology and cloud standards, as well as all applicable architecture considerations * Take part in an after-hours on-call support rotation and implement solutions, patching and deployment activities as needed * Define and lead the design of programs that support and align with cloud-based online service strategies and engineering requirements for evolving security services, mechanisms, and safeguards * Develop metrics that demonstrate the current risk state, indicators of progress, and IAM business alignment * Engage with development teams during operational security reviews, and provide leadership and security design guidance * Monitor technology and security developments to ensure the company's security framework follows industry best practices * Plays a key and influential role working with others, in groups, in cross-functional settings and with diverse stakeholders internally and externally Qualifications: * 7+ years designing and managing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions * 2+ years of Technical Program Management experience owning a program/product/feature, scoping requirements, planning milestones, project management, and working with technical teams * 2+ years of experience leading software development projects with aggressive schedules * 2+ years experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including management of IAM roles and automation of infrastructure deployment across multiple AWS accounts * Proven analytical thinking, skills in metrics creation and project management, attention to details, and exceptional organizational skills * Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations * Experience leading large security access system upgrades/projects using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) * Advanced understanding of IAM solutions and related technologies including Azure AD, Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), Kerberos, LDAP, claims, group and role mapping, PKI, PIM, DNS, DHCP and GPO implementations * Proven expertise designing and implementing solutions leveraging OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, WS Fed, and MFA * Advanced understanding of standard identity management tools, technologies, and processes * B.S.
