The Integrity Investigations & Intelligence (i3) team is seeking an organized Technical Program Manager to help keep our billion users safe from real world threats. We count on our program manager to quantify, document, and advocate for the critical technical needs for the i3 team which in turn enables us to help support people.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and lead end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery of initiatives

Identify and communicate project risks, progress, launches and retrospectives across all stakeholders and teams consistently and transparently

Work cross-functionally to help prioritize projects and communicate status, priority, and impact of product changes to stakeholders

Define and build common processes across multiple teams

Create change management and communication plans to drive adoption of new initiatives

Lead teams in gathering long-term requirements from multiple stakeholders

Design and document a strategic system architecture to consolidate existing systems and users onto a new common platform

Define, build, and implement a new knowledge management process

Define, build, and implement an organization-wide training program

Drive identifications of team risks and safeguards

Use data and visualization to tell a story to convince internal and external stakeholders to take action

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree and 5+ years of work experience in a role involving strategy, problem solving, program management, or technical systems
    2+ years of experience with SQL, data analysis, and data visualization tools

Analytical thinker who can break down problems using data and technology independently

Experience communicating to a variety of audiences from software engineers, to investigators, to managers

Experience protecting vulnerable populations

Knowledge about criminology and the cyber threat landscape

The consultant will be tasked with the overall planning, scheduling, coordination of Business Intelligence projects. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the execution of the projects by organizing work, developing a project plan, following the execution of the plan, providing status reports, actively managing project risks, and ensuring that project activities track to the plan. The team's mission: The ITE/ITO Data Management team provides system analysis, design and development of data warehouses and analytics solutions and documentation. At the same time, the team leads the Data Governance, Quality and Cloud Data Platform initiatives leveraging the latest technologies available. What you'll do: * Independently plan and drive the program. * Work in the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of program work streams. * Contribute to stakeholder alignment. * Organize the overall project and establish clear roles and responsibilities for each work stream and activity in the plan. * Analyze project plans to identify and mitigate risks and minimize potential roadblocks. * Collaborate with working groups and stakeholders to create and maintain a detailed project plan. * Schedule and prepare meeting materials for project team meetings, including kickoff, testing kick-off and sign-off, go/no-go, post-mortem, etc. * Facilitate meetings, capturing and tracking issues reported during all phases of the project. * Drives assigned team actions to resolution by working with action owners. * Proactively identifies dependencies between teams, resolves issues, and ensures all plans align on delivery criteria. * Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies to meet the program goals and objectives. * Facilitate the creation of presentations and training events to educate stakeholders on project solutions, strategies, purposes, plans and status. * Close the program and report overall level of success to sponsors and stakeholders, and identifies lessons learned for continuous improvement. What you'll need: Citizenship: * You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents. Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group. Education: BS in Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience in the Information Technology field. * Experience in project management especially Business Intelligence and Data Management projects. * Exposure to Tableau, PowerBI, or IBM Analytics platform and understating of self-service. * Experience in the overall lifecycle of system implementation. * Agile methodology. * Minimum understanding of SQL. * Good documentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Must be able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment. * Experience managing projects using Office web based and desktop set of tools like MS Teams, MS Project and Sharepoint, as well as Jira platform. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, commitment and the ability to work in an international team and across hierarchical levels are indispensable. * Proficiency in written and oral English and Spanish is required.
