The Technical Program Manager I is responsible for ensuring compliance on a set of projects with objectives set by company management. As such, the program manager is the owner of a set of complex projects and/or a small program.

The Program Manager will be responsible for defining and owning the execution of programs affiliated to product development. This person will integrate all near and long term technical and product development initiatives into a cohesive program strategy. This position will be responsible for coordinating all relevant parts of the organization including engineering, quality, supply chain, operations, sales, and finance to ensure seamless production, delivery, installation, and support of our programs. The position reports directly to the PMO director.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes the framework and conditions for smooth execution of the program.

  • Passes on the program objectives to the company's functional departments, within their delegated scope of responsibility.

  • Ensure consistency into project data management tool (Project management dashboard, ERP).

  • Monitor project sets performance metrics: cost, quality and lead-time aspects.

  • Consolidate the various schedules and keep the overall program calendar updated.

  • Consolidate the various risk mitigation plans, guarantee the reliability and accuracy of management data and ensure that risks are duly managed

  • Driven to obtain top results for the organization. Focus people on actions that result in meeting business goals.

  • Able to quickly integrate complex information for either problem solving or defining new product solutions. Effectively probe for information critical to the decision at hand.

  • Ensure accountabilities and expectations are clear.

  • Develop follow up processes to ensure quality implementation.

  • Develop deep knowledge of issues, and perspective key decisions with the executive team.

  • Plan and lead execution of product and solution launches.

  • Develop and implement specific cost reduction plans, as needed.

Additional Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Expected minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 2 years and a Master's degree.

  • Minimum of 2 years managing technical projects with emphasis on engineering design.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with dynamic daily priorities.

  • Experience in new-product introduction and scale to manufacturing.

  • Ability to fluently read and write English.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline. Master's degree preferred.

  • Strong strategic thinker with proven product management level experience leading the full range of product development activities with a highly technical company and industry.

  • Known for the ability to develop strategy and will have a successful track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
