Job Purpose

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the successful I.T. implementation of an ecommerce website supporting the Portuguese language for Younique. They are accountable for the program's budget, schedule, and scope. They will work closely with the VP of Software Development and Director of Development Projects on a daily basis in coordinating development initiatives with virtually every development team including ERP & finance, logistics, eCommerce, content management, customer support, backoffice, digital marketing & social media, business intelligence, and infrastructure. Besides attending and participating in relevant scrum meetings, they will interface regularly with key business stakeholders such as finance, operations, marketing, logistics, and legal. It is anticipated that some travel will be necessary in fostering business relationships and coordinating development efforts with third party vendors for outsourced functions such as ERP, BPO, logistics, and payment processing. The Technical Program Manager will report to the Director of Development Projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Champion lean, agile, and iterative methodologies with frequent and regular deliverable milestones.

  • Foster a collaborative culture of including development teams in solution design rather than delivering waterfall handoffs.

  • Produce sufficient requirement documentation and acceptance criteria and include QA early in the discovery process to ensure adequate test case development.

  • Oversee implementation of a mobile-first user experience with 3g-based page-load optimization and load testing.

  • Provide thorough and consistent transparency to stakeholders including project roadmaps, budget tracking, deliverable milestones, status updates, and risk analysis.

  • Ensure accountability of third-party vendors by establishing open and candid lines of communication and setting clear, acknowledged expectations and SLAs.


  • Experienced business professional with a strong working knowledge of ERP, eCommerce, and supply chain business systems.

  • Seasoned Agile practitioner (Agile Product Owner/Scrum Master certifications a plus).

  • Talented Business Analyst with proficiency in turning conversations into technical requirements.

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English with a current passport.

  • Previous I.T. Direct Sales experience a plus.

What you'll do: * Design and refine a set of standardized and repeatable processes to tackle complex and cross- company initiatives and drive execution. * Utilize Jira and Jira Portfolio to meet the different demands from the various organizations to improve productivity. * Design and build dashboards to enable stakeholders to find the insights that they need and to detect early warning signals. * Identify gaps and bottlenecks in the product development pipeline by participating in project milestone reviews and provide solutions to improve the organization's effectiveness. * Provide project updates to the office of the CEO and CTO on a regular basis * Play the role of an advisor to the community of program managers in the company and advise them on new and existing process and work together to advocate best practices What you need to succeed: * Minimum of 10 years' experience in software, SaaS and/or related industry. Must have gone through a complete life cycle on a product team.
