Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in technical program or project management.

  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Health, Public Health, or other related technical field.

  • Board-eligible/certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine or have equivalent training or experience.

  • 5 years of experience in Leading Occupational Health.

  • 3 years of experience in a technical lead and/or managerial capacity.

  • Knowledge of medical and mental health and counseling services fields, health promotion, and/or education programs.

The Compliance, Safety and Risk Management team (CSRM) is a dedicated organization chartered with protecting the people and assets of Google's global critical infrastructure.

As part of CSRM, the Data Center EHS team is responsible for ensuring the entire lifecycle of our Technical Infrastructure meets our industry leading environmental, health and safety standards.

We grow and promote Environmental Health and Safety to enable everyone to thrive in their work and community by delivering an exciting and engaging Environmental Health and Safety program that is recognized for its integrity, partnership, and care.

You will report to the head of EHS Strategy, Programs, and Partnership and will be responsible for leading our Occupational Health pillar.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a cohesive global occupational health vision and strategy that is aligned or exceeds industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain and improve in-depth expertise in relevant local, state, and federal laws related to Occupational Health.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our industry leading Occupational Health Standards are implemented and continuously improved upon.

  • Create and deliver a proactive occupational health culture that promotes wellness, identifies and mitigates workplace hazards, and minimizes work-related illness and injury.
