Title: Technical Program Manager
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: long term (at least 2 years)
Interview: Local candidates preferred as there might be onsite interview

Responsibilities:
Leading and managing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific programs.
Working with Product and Engineering stakeholders in developing quarterly roadmaps that capture cross functional dependencies, requirements, and resource capacity.
Working with Product, Engineering, UX Design, Architecture and other stakeholders to identify & manage program/project dependencies & coming up with an execution plan.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the systems architecture that impacts assigned projects. Brings excellent insight into new projects around dependencies / potential issues, influences the design of projects, and rapidly identifies and resolves technical dependencies and risks.
Brokering & managing agreements between stakeholder groups. Facilitating negotiations, brokering of new agreements when such agreements change.
Constantly monitoring and reporting on the progress of programs to all stakeholders
Identifying process gaps & inefficiencies. Evangelizing & implementing process & tool improvements to make processes repeatable & predictable.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in computer science, math, engineering or related fields
Extensive experience in the Agile Methodology using Scrum as well as waterfall
8+ years of overall software industry experience
3+ years of experience in Technical Program/Project management in complex cross-functional environment.
Experience in NodeJS and NoSQL DB (Technologies implemented in the environment include NodeJS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, RDS, Elastic Search, ProgreSQL, GraphQL)
Project Management Certification (PMI-PMP) or equivalent experience preferred
Agile Certification (PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM) or equivalent experience preferred
Effective in high-pressure and/or ambiguous situations; anticipates and adjusts long-range plans to meet changing complex and interdependent needs; able to take on and lead multiple assignments

What you'll be doing: * Independently build and update plans that achieve project objectives * Identify / track key achievements, evaluate / obtain / manage resources * Define tasks, drive assignments, and manage progress with teams in US, Europe, India and China * You will support alignment nd planning actives for the product definition, design and builds * Document high level project and product descriptions in PTC Windchill * Identify risks and develop / execute risk management plans * Assess and drive closure of product and process bugs * Resolve issues with creativity and persistence, and create long term improvement plans * Interact with internal development groups, suppliers and vendors * Regularly communicating the program status, key issues, and decisions to management that keeps the business moving and so very critical to our success * Assist in improving existing working models, processes, and help feedback to improve infrastructure What we need to see: * Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, with demonstrated strong academic performance * 8+ yrs of applicable experience * Working knowledge of EE engineering product design/development * Knowledge of automotive, embedded or PC technologies, devices and interfaces is desired * Strong oral and written communication skills * Self-starter with ability to multi-task in a dynamic, global, and technology-focused environment and across multiple cultural dynamics * Proven track record of leading the release of quality projects into manufacturing * Strong leadership, facilitation, problem solving, and program management skills are required to be successful in this role NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers as we grow to even more inventive heights.
