The Technical Product Manager is dedicated to maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the internal systems that we use to run our business. At the center of our network of systems is Salesforce and being at the center, a large amount of our time and effort is around creating an amazing Salesforce experience for our internal customers. An ideal candidate is someone who likes to tackle challenges, problem solve and be proactive. This individual will be someone with excellent technical and communication skills who will work directly with our internal stakeholders to understand their behaviors, needs, and requirements. The Technical Product Manager is then responsible for creating technical requirements that can be implemented by a Salesforce Admin, Solutions Architect or engineers.

What you'll own:

  • Drive and contribute to projects that rely on Salesforce and other internal systems from discovery through delivery; Gather requirements, collaborate with the team to define a solution, and train users.

  • Develop a deep understanding of various business unit's processes and goals.

  • Monitor Slack channels and help triage issues to the appropriate team members for resolution.

  • Lead key meetings with clients including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training.

  • Seek opportunities to offer improvements: transform unofficial, disorganized processes into feature enhancements in Salesforce and other systems.

  • Translate business goals to tools, reports, prompts and interfaces that support those goals.

  • Facilitate and drive continued enhancements of and related systems, aligning with business processes and business reporting requirements.

Experience you'll need:

  • 2+ years of progressive experience as a product manager.

  • Salesforce experience is preferred.

  • Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly ramp up on new business customers, their business needs, and technologies.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, engineers and other members of the Business Technology team.

  • Proven record of troubleshooting and resolving issues with SaaS, sales, success and financial systems.

  • Highly organized with a personal method to manage multiple competing priorities without falling behind.

Customers frequently interact with Technical Specialists to ensure their equipment is properly fitted and maintained for their outdoor adventures.
