Technical Product Manager
We are looking for a high-energy, proven, Technical Product Manager (TPM) for our LMS team. Specifically, the TPM partners with business unit product managers in the design, development and implementation of digital learning solutions. The TPM leads Agile development team(s) and is responsible for driving the successful delivery of the platform in support of new products and new product versions. The TPM is responsible for helping the team to define, manage, and implement innovative digital products and product lines that are uniquely responsive to both market demands and the needs of students, instructors and higher education institutions.
Our Digital Platform Group is a world-class education tech team utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to deliver intuitive learning experiences. DPG builds data-driven digital products that enhance teaching and improve learning outcomes.
The team also conducts research and development targeted at new market opportunities in the quickly evolving education technology space.

Your contribution to the team includes:
Be the conscience of the product, continuously looking at the product from the end-user's perspective; driving the complete experience, software and content, to best outcome possible for the end-user. Ensure the customer experience is represented as a top priority throughout all stages of development.
Draft project charters, requirements, Agile epics and stories, with prioritized features and specifications, while incorporating inputs from all stakeholders. Ensure release goals and commitments are understood by all affected teams.
Partner with Program Managers and Engineering Leadership to ensure a manageable scope that can be delivered on-time, on-budget, on-quality. Oversee the care and feeding of the platform, ensure all aspects of the platform receive attention, including technical debt and infrastructure as well as new features. Results of this work are communicated via the quarterly plan.
Own and drive the platform roadmap. Partner with the business product managers to develop a vision, strategy and prioritized feature backlog for digital product(s)/platform. Ensure cohesion across all product lines on their platform.
What you'll need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
3-5 years of experience in leading Agile- based, software product development teams. Agile Scrum certified preferred.
Proven management experience. The TPM is typically responsible for 1-3 Agile teams. Each team consists of 5-10 members per team.
Experience working with cross functional teams globally.
Ability to travel up to 25%
