Looking for a Technical Product Manager to be part of Supply Chain Sustainability IT team. This individual will be / deliver:

  • Rapid Learning: Be passionate about learning new concepts (e.g., business process flows, functional requirements, data attributes, etc.) and starting to define and lead a new space very quickly. Embrace ambiguity and uncertainty as a growth opportunity instead of being fazed by it.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Business and SaaS vendor) to deliver the implementation of SACC tool, as per the solution design, to help track and manage ESG Audit and Compliance as well as compliance with UFLPA (Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act) of our suppliers.

  • Integration: Deliver integrations across multiple systems including internal and third-party tool(s) used by Ford and its supply base. Design and create actionable plan to move solution design to implementation.

  • Communication: Clearly communicate vision, strategy, workplan and implementation status to cross functional teams, senior leaders, and stakeholders to gain alignment. Grow subject matter expertise, provide guidance to other members on the team and detail our capabilities to help educate partners.

  • Live and breathe Agile: Lead all Agile ceremonies and activities for the team, to help define the work to be done, improve team process, and align with defined objectives. Ensure effective usage of Rally and derive meaningful insights from Rally like velocity of team, throughput etc. to enable the team to go further. Partner with Product Owners and develop and as required execute test scenarios at various levels (functional, user acceptance) within Agile Framework. Facilitate adoption of relevant Ford processes, employ/champion Agile culture, best practices, processes, and techniques whenever possible.

On a typical 'day in the life' of this role, this individual will:

  • Drive requirements clarity with Internal and External Teams, i.e., Product Owner, Business Owner, Vendor, internal Product, Data, Architecture & Integration teams.

  • Coordinate with enterprise and application architects to validate solution designs with a focus on the stability, scalability, and reliability of the product.

  • Create and prioritize a backlog of stories to help build new features with a definition of ready and done.

  • Collaborate with internal and external peers to define, block / unblock or split stories.

  • Lead Agile ceremonies to define work to be done, advance and deliver work, improve team process, etc.

  • Validate complete stories by gathering detailed metrics for feedback when necessary.

  • Participate in governance activities to keep cross-functional leadership aligned. Escalate as needed.

  • Identify risks & implement mitigation / contingency plans, focused on early mitigation / elimination of risk.

  • Track upcoming change requests & requirements to update test case(s) & validate specific requirements.

  • Partner with Product Owner and develop / execute test scenarios at various levels (functional, UAT, etc.)

  • Participate in triage and debugging sessions for integration or relevant issues.

  • Grow subject matter expertise, provide guidance and education to other team members and stakeholders.
